Not every outfit needs a special event…sometimes lunch with friends, an afternoon of shopping, or dinner on the patio is reason enough to pull something beautiful from your closet.
This silk wrap skirt from Benaar LA is one of those pieces that just seems so effortless and perfect for a warmer day. The print is gorgeous, and it pairs perfectly with a navy knit sweater I picked up at the Paige store in Charleston. I can’t find the blue one, but I’ve linked the exact sweater in brown that would also be amazing with the skirt. I love the combinations that just kind of happen and don’t necessarily come as a set.
I finished the look with an older pair of Cult Gaia heels that are truly one of my most worn pairs of shoes because they go with everything and are the perfect heel height…not to mention so comfortable. They aren’t inexpensive, but I’ve been wearing them for 4 years now and they still look great so IMHO, they’re worth it. And…my Poolside market bag (similar here) is one of my favorite summer accessories. My earrings and cuff bracelet are from Julie Vos and I wear these often as well!
Of course, while we were photographing this look, Amos wandered over and decided he should be part of the shoot. He always steals the spotlight…and I wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s my little love! Archie was wandering around somewhere being curious (or digging a hole!).
I’ve been wearing a lot of clothing from Benaar LA lately (you’ll love this look)…it’s an affordable, woman owned brand, the clothes are all so cute and very reasonably priced. Be sure to take a look at the website to see the summer collection.

I’m linking everything in this post in a boutique below as well as a few other accessories that would be great with the skirt!

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the Shop page and the Daily Looks page on Crazy Blonde Life! The Shop is where I put everything that’s been catching my eye as I peruse my favorite websites and the Daily Looks page is where I upload pictures of outfits I’ve worn, some of which never make the blog. I update them often and you may find something you love or be inspired by an outfit!

And…no one has mentioned the ad free website. When I changed my blog, I decided not to run ads so it would be easier to read. Let me know what you think!

I hope your holiday weekend is off to a great start! It’s going to be another scorcher today, but…I guess it is summer! Happy July 4th!
Thanks so much for reading today!
~XOXO Suzanne

Hi Mary Margaret
Thank you so much for this sweet comment and for reading today! I’m planning to keep the blog ad free because I really want my readers to have a good experience! I hope you have a great weekend! Happy 4th!
I so appreciate an ad free blog. I can enjoy reading your posts without distraction or accidentally hitting the ad while scrolling. So thank you!
I also loved your post about your family home and childhood. It brought back memories of my own childhood. Playing outside for hours, finding quiet places to read or just dream really do help shape a person.
Thank you for always sharing your style and family with us readers! Happy Independence Day!
