I love trying new beauty products, and over the past several weeks I’ve had the opportunity to receive some wonderful products to try, along with purchasing a few myself. Today, I wanted to share some of my favorite new beauty products with you! These are all products that I’ve genuinely loved using and would absolutely purchase again. From skincare and haircare to a couple of makeup favorites, each one has earned a spot in my routine. I feel like I’m becoming a bit of a beauty product junkie lately, but I also think it’s important to spoil yourself every now and then because we all deserve a little self-care. I hope you enjoy this roundup and maybe even discover a new favorite or two!
Kérastase Genesis Bain Nutri-Fortifiant Shampoo
I used this shampoo for the first time on Monday and was so impressed with how great my hair felt after. It was manageable, soft and felt really clean and bouncy. It cleanses without stripping moisture so if your hair is dry, prone to breakage, or you’ve noticed more shedding than usual, this is definitely worth trying.
Kérastase Genesis Fondant Renforçateur Conditioner
I followed the Genesis shampoo with this conditioner because they were made to work together. My hair wasn’t tangled and it was silky smooth so brushing and drying was very easy.
Kérastase Nutritive Nectar Thermique
I also ordered this leave-in heat protectant to use before blow drying and using my curling iron. It helps to tame frizz, adds softness, and protects my hair from heat damage while making it much easier to style. A little goes a long way, and I love the way my hair feels after styling.
Kérastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum
This overnight serum is one of those products that works its magic while you sleep. Apply a pump or two before bed, and wake up with softer, smoother hair that’s much easier to manage. It’s especially wonderful during the winter or anytime my hair feels dry. I feel like this is such a great system for my hair!
Tower 28 GetSet Blur + Set Pressed Powder
I’ve really been impressed with this pressed powder. I don’t like to use a lot of powder because I want my face to look dewey but it sets my makeup beautifully, and gives my skin a soft, natural finish without looking heavy. I love that it blurs the look of pores and gives my face a natural looking smoothness.
MARA Sea Vitamin C Serum
This vitamin C serum has become one of my favorites. It helps brighten my complexion, fade the appearance of dark spots and discoloration, even out my skin tone, and gives my skin a healthy glow. I also love that it’s hydrating and gentle enough for my sensitive skin, so I get all the benefits of vitamin C without irritation.
MARA Pearl Peptide Glaze Facial Essence
This Pearl Peptide Glaze is one of those products that instantly makes your skin look fresh and radiant. It adds an extra layer of hydration while giving my complexion a beautiful glow before moisturizer. My skin feels smooth and nourished after using it and I love the name!
Ursa Major Golden Hour Dry Oil
I love how versatile this dry oil is. I use it on my face, body, and even my hair whenever I need a little extra moisture. It absorbs fairly quickly and leaves my skin with a beautiful, healthy glow. It is a little on the greasy side, which honestly doesn’t bother me. I usually let it soak in for a few minutes before getting dressed and simply wipe away any excess with a dry washcloth. While I was at the beach, I applied a generous amount to my hair before bed and let it work its magic overnight. My hair felt so much softer and more hydrated the next morning. I’m telling you that I baby my hair…I’ve been through too much!
Ursa Major Golden Hour Body Butter
I’ve been so impressed with Ursa Major’s products that I couldn’t wait to try their new Golden Hour Body Butter. It’s designed to deeply hydrate while absorbing quickly, and it has a subtle scent with notes of neroli, rose, and sandalwood that smells absolutely delicious. I love slathering it on along with the dry oil so I’m double moisturized. I pay special attention to my knees and elbows.
Farmacy Honey Halo Moisturizer
I absolutely love this lightly scented facial moisturizer to use under my makeup and at night. It’s rich and nourishing without feeling too heavy and my makeup goes on smoothly. It’s perfect for dry summer skin and I love the magnetic lid so the little scoop doesn’t get lost!
Farmacy Honey Vanilla Lip Smoothie
I’m pretty addicted to this fabulous lip balm! I use it every night and every morning. It keeps my lips soft, hydrated, and never feels sticky…just so good! The light vanilla scent is an added bonus!
OUAI Wave Spray
I first used this wave spray while at the beach and then let my hair dry naturally. I loved how my hair felt and my curl was very natural looking without being crunchy. I’ll definitely reach for this when I want effortless beachy waves. Simply spray it into damp hair, let it air dry, and scrunch a bit. My daughter told me about a handheld hair steamer that works on the second day to help revive curl. Just spray a bit more wave spray and then use the hair steamer. I’ve ordered it for our next beach trip but it hasn’t come yet. I’ll keep you posted!
Trish McEvoy Fuller Brows Pencil
Good brows make a huge difference, and this waxy pencil makes filling them in quick and easy. The fine tip creates natural-looking strokes, and the formula lasts all day without smudging. This is the best brow pencil I’ve ever used!
