Today’s post comes straight from my closet and features an amazing pair of pants from Lyssé New York. When I put these plaid trousers on, I was blown away by the fit…the cropped length is exactly right and they’ll surely be your best friend going into fall. You could certainly wear them now with a white blouse or a simple short sleeve tee.

I styled these plaid pants four completely different ways and I love every one. These looks would work for the office, a casual dinner or really just anywhere. The tops are all from Lyssé New York as well and they would mix and match easily with jeans, other trousers and skirts. I’m impressed with every piece and the price point makes it even better. The first look features a reversible oatmeal color sweater tee. The other side of this top is chocolate brown giving you two tops in one and both colors would be great with the pants. I’ve added a small chocolate brown bag and booties. This look is really simple and actually quite fabulous!

For the second look, I mixed things up with an olive green sweater and tan loafers from Madison Maison (darker brown color here). This outfit is clearly for when the weather turns, but I’m loving how the loafers look with the pants and the sweater is perfect. Easy and pulled together at the same time.

Who doesn’t love a moto jacket? The color of this vegan leather one really pops against the pants and adds a little sass to the look. Perfect for the office or a meeting, and just as good for lunch or a casual dinner out.

I switched up the bag and the boots for this look. The brown satin top felt a little more laid back than the other pieces, so I leaned into it and gave the look an artsy feel. The top is tapered at the bottom, which makes it really flattering.

I love all four of these looks and will be wearing them on repeat this fall.
