I’m still talking about the heat here!  It has been in the 90’s for  the past three days with 200% humidity.  When it’s that hot out, everything needs to be easy.  These photos were taken very quickly in the charming little gazebo in our back yard.  I discovered a Velvet tank with the tags still on in my too crowded closet and was happy to put it on with a pair of white jeans and be dressed!  I wore my favorite Chloe espadrilles and threw on a few bracelets…easy and effortless.

After pictures, I met Mr. Crazy Blonde at a new restaurant in Burlington called The Mission.  The Mission is a, casual Southwestern food restaurant, great for lunch or dinner.  It was our first time eating there and we really enjoyed it.  They serve the best tacos and the guacamole is delicious!  When we pulled into the parking lot it started pouring rain and we got a little wet going in but it was worth it.  The storm lasted for about 10 minutes and then the most beautiful rainbow came out.  We sat and watched it rain and had margaritas and chips with salsa and guacamole and then ordered dinner.  The Mission has a big patio area but unfortunately it was very wet and hot.  If you’re looking for a tasty casual dinner The Mission is a great place to try…we will be going back very soon.
