Happy Saturday…what a quick week that was!

I love Saturday style…it’s my favorite kind of style because it’s easy but casual enough for running around, but still feels pulled together and looks like me. I actually think I wear Saturday style most days!

This Brochu Walker striped blouse is exactly the kind of piece that I’ll reach for often. The cropped length gives a classic button-down a more current feel, but the beautiful fabric and tailoring keep it from feeling trendy. I paired it with jeans and my denim slingbacks from Madison Maison here, and a cute yellow bag (similar here). I love how simple the whole look is while still feeling polished.

What makes this blouse especially good for right now is that you don’t have to wait for cooler weather to wear it. It would be so pretty with white jeans, or with the elastic-waist white linen pants we’ve all been wearing all summer…and yes, I’m still absolutely wearing mine. Later on, I’ll wear it with darker denim, trousers, and layered under a jacket. It’s one of those pieces that feels very of-the-moment now, but is good enough to stay in your closet for years.

And I have to mention the Dries Van Noten perfume (pictured below) because it has become a fragrance I keep reaching for! I’m very particular about fragrance, and this one feels distinctive without being overpowering and when I wear it…people always notice and ask about it. It’s the kind of finishing touch that makes getting dressed feel complete!
