We all love denim…whether it’s a denim jacket or a pair of jeans, denim plays a major role in most everyone’s wardrobe!

Today, I’m styling five different denim jackets, five different ways that transcend the trends! You’ll wear these looks for spring and beyond! I hope you find some inspiration in this post!

The first look features an oversized denim jacket with wide leg joggers. Wear it with one button buttoned near the top to let the waist band of the joggers show. Add the crossbody over the jacket and throw on a pair of sneakers…I love the light blue, but with this neutral look, any color will do!

Next up…wear a classic denim jacket with wide leg trousers and a white blouse for a more dressed up look. I’ve added sneakers to this look, but you could just as easily add a bootie or flat sandal to change it up. The suede bag will go with everything in your closet!

If you’re wondering how to wear barrel leg jeans…this is it! A cropped jacket with a fitted tee under (you don’t want volume on the top and bottom) with fun grommeted Mary Jane flats. Keep the jewelry simple (love these small hoops) and add fabulous bag!

I own this dress in navy and love it, but…it hasn’t been quite warm enough to wear it as a sundress so adding a dark wash denim jacket is a great solution. I really do love sneakers with this look…it gives it a street style attitude and shows the versatility of the dress.

Well OMG what to even say about the cute espadrille loafers! They really take this look from just okay to WOW and the green bag adds another punch! If you don’t own a white denim jacket, it’s time to get one because it’s definitely a closet essential!
