The Allure of Kinross Cashmere
Happy Monday…time is ticking and the rush is on! I hope you are all managing everything and staying sane! I had a little insane moment last night and had to have a little talk with myself! Christmas can be a lot and I had to take a minute and remember what’s really important. Between running around doing daily and Christmas errands, decorating, wrapping, planning meals, working and trying to still be present for my family, I had a little moment of “OMG I’m going crazy”! Perspective is everything and I really did have to stop and be grateful for my many many blessings. It’s all just a moment in time and I was taking things way too seriously! I’m definitely better this morning after a little sleep and a good “coming to Jesus” moment with myself. If you don’t know that term, it’s a Southern thing!
Speaking of…I’ve really been thinking about my Southern mom so much and find myself saying the little sayings she used often. I think some days, the memories get to me and I miss her much more than I thought I would. That might sound odd, but after 8 years in memory care, she wasn’t the same person I knew. Anyway…getting back to the post…
Kinross is a brand that I’ve just discovered and their cashmere is so nice! This sweater coat is beyond soft and it’s very warm, not to mention gorgeous and classic. It’s a piece I’ll keep and treasure forever! I decided to add a couple of paragraphs from their website below to give you a little bit of info about what Kinross is all about.
“KINROSS is the premier brand of Dawson Forte Cashmere. Our story began 20 years ago under the umbrella of a world renowned cashmere company headquartered in Kinross, Scotland. Today, we remain a nimble team, having established a standalone US company with offices in the Boston area, New York, and Shanghai. From goat to garment, we carry with us the knowledge and experience accumulated over years spent in every aspect of a global cashmere business. We are respected in the industry for our premium quality, exceptional customer service, and strong social and environmental conscience. KINROSS is the ultimate expression of these company values.
We adhere to strict European cashmere production standards that are consistent with our heritage. From the technical design of our garments and fiber selection through dyeing, yarn-spinning, garment production and quality control you can rest assured that you are acquiring a product that is designed and hand-crafted to last. Our product's journey begins with the careful hand-combing of the finest downy fleece from free-range cashmere goats. From there, the fiber undergoes an extensive process of refinement before it ultimately transforms into a KINROSS-quality garment, embodying the time-honored craftsmanship and precision at every step.”
This gorgeous outfit is the epitome of classic style and I absolutely love it! I’ve worn this rib sleeve sweater coat from Kinross several different ways and obviously, it’s a very versatile piece! Here I’ve paired it with waxed flare jeans from Boston Proper, Stuart Weitzman suede platform booties, a Tory Burch red bag and a cashmere turtleneck from Theory along with a locket from Monica Rich Kosann that Baldy gave me for Christmas several years ago. This look will never go out of style!
Scroll down for a boutique with some of my favorite pieces from Kinross. These pieces all make timeless gifts that any girl would love…and they have mens things as well!
If you’ve read this far…Thank you so much! And, I would like to say how much I appreciate everyone who supports Crazy Blonde Life. I started this blog and had absolutely no idea what it would turn into! It’s evolved and will continue to evolve and the biggest surprise to me is that it has turned into a legitimate business. So many of the items I post about are gifted (and I get paid for some posts) and I’m so blessed to be able to wear these beautiful items and share them with you! I’m also learning about being a business woman, technical things, book keeping etc., and I’ve made wonderful friends all over the country. I think the most important part is that I’ve found something I’m passionate about and most days, it’s really fun (although stressful at times), but I know I couldn’t do any of what I do without the people who support me! So again…Thank you!
Today, I’m filming a Holiday House Tour video and I’ll also be in the kitchen making a few appetizers and a Christmas Charcuterie Board! Those will be posted this week and I think you’ll love it all! I’ve worked so hard on the house and done things a little differently this year!
Time is ticking if you’re ordering gifts on line! Amazon has a huge selection of just about anything you can imagine and the shipping is sometimes a little quicker, especially with a Prime membership. I’ve put together a huge list of things in my Amazon Storefront and it took me forever, so be sure to check it out!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post…
