Elevate the Everyday!

I’ve found a shoe brand that I’m so excited to share with you and it’s called The Office of Angela Scott. They reached out to me for a collaboration and when I went to the website to look around, I was immediately in love with everything! I had such a hard time picking out just one pair, but ended up choosing these fabulous metallic green loafers! I thought they would be fun for the holidays, but I’ll wear them all year long (they come in black and a teal patent leather too…so good)!

The styling options for these shoes is endless but I decided on this floral Alice & Olivia blouse that I purchased while I was in New York last week…it’s absolutely perfect with the shoes as are the cropped leather pants. The only other loafers I have are a pair of lug sole Gucci loafers that are really cute but nearly as comfortable (or fun) as these. This outfit is classic and easy, but the loafers give it that little bit of unexpected umpff (did I spell that right?), which I really like!

On another note…since I got back from New York last week, Amos has been stuck to me like glue. We don’t normally board him, but this time, no one was available to come and stay at the house so we had no choice. We took him to a really nice place, but I don’t think he liked it and…the very next morning after we got home, he had a grooming appointment and I had to leave him again.

He’s sound asleep right next to me and since we’ve been home, he follows me everywhere. I kind of love it, but I feel like I’ve traumatized him! He’s such a sweet boy! And…guess what? We’re getting another little doodle that looks just like Amos did when he was a puppy. His name right now is Claus and we’re going to change it but we haven’t completely decided what the name will be. I worry that Amos is lonely sometimes because we’re so busy and now he’ll have a puppy brother. Clause is a much smaller pup and he’ll be arriving on January 6th! I couldn’t be more excited. Doodles are the best!

My daughter Rebecca found the vintage Santa in the picture above in an antique store and gave him to Baldy for Christmas one year. He’s a music box and I pull him out every year…we call him evil Santa because of his eyes but he’s a favorite and the grandchildren love him!

And back to the shoes…

The other pair that I seriously considered was the Mrs. Maisel Midheel (below) and I may just end up getting them. They have a bit of sparkle and will look great with wideleg pants…aren’t they fun? The name of these shoes is making me want to go back and watch every season of Mrs. Maisel. I loved the storyline in the show, but the fashion and decor were over-the-top!

I also really love these derby oxfords. The lug sole combined with grey make them different and they’ll be sooo cute going into spring with white!

I do truly love these shoes and the company…and what a cute name - The Office of Angela Scott. I think they’re unusal and so stylish and…a bit of an indulgence! I know you’ll find something you love!

The boutique below contains some of my favorite things for the holiday season and just in general! I’ve added a caption about why I love each thing and I hope that’s helpful!

I’m almost ready for my holiday house tour which we’re filming tomorrow! I’ve had to brave the cold to get some of the outside done and just have a bit to finish on the outside. Be sure to check back on Wednesday!

Happy Sunday!
