Mad For Plaid and Neutrals for Fall
If last year taught us anything, it taught us that we can’t predict the future, but fashion trends are something else entirely! Neutrals, of course will never go out of style…how could we get dressed without them, and if you love plaid, you’re in luck this fall because it’s everywhere and on everything! Add a little or a lot to your wardrobe because you can’t go wrong! We’ve put together a few outfits that you’ll love whether you’re looking for a more demure neutral look, or you’re mad for plaid!
As you’ve probably noticed, flare jeans are making a huge comeback this season and look great with platform booties!
Another look that’s trending for fall and easy to wear is coated and faux leather pants. You get the leather look without the price tag of real leather.
If you don’t own a pair of clogs, what are you waiting for? They’re comfortable and so stylish and come in many styles and heel heights. There is something for everyone when it comes to clogs!
This is such a classic look that will take you so many places. I’ve owned these Stuart Weitzman boots for going on 5 years and pull them out every fall. They are an investment, but when it comes to price per wear, they’re basically free!
This outfit is reminiscent of mod 60’s era fashion that designers are bringing back this fall. Change the boots out for flats and add fishnet stockings for a bold statement!
Just like leopard, consider snakeskin a neutral. Add a pop to these pants with a purple sweater!
If you haven’t heard of the cottagecore trend…it’s a trend that embodies feminine, rural living and is having a huge influence on fashion this season. Imagine walks in the country, surrounded by nature and homemade pumpkin pie. The plaid trend as well as anything that looks cozy or handmade (such as the patchwork blazer above) is definitely working it’s way into fall outfits and I’m loving it!
Loving this outfit for a warm fall day, which seems to be what we’re going to be having in the South for a while!

Plaid clogs…two trends in one!
