Styling Faux Leather Shorts 4 Ways

It’s been so warm here in North Carolina! We had a few days of crisp, wonderful fall weather and then it was over! It’s been right back to hot and humid, but now that we’re into October, I’m over summer. That’s not to say that I wouldn’t enjoy a tropical vacation, but if I’m going to be home, I want to wear my fall clothes!

I decided that a pair of faux leather shorts might be a good way to dress for fall without being so hot and today…I’m showing you 4 ways to style them! I purchased the shorts and several of the tops I’m wearing from a new boutique in Burlington called Sweet Caroline! It’s owned a friend of mine who’s name just happens to be Caroline! Here I’m styling my shorts with a striped sweater from Loft…which I love, and Marc Fisher booties. The sweater is a little heavy, but I just push up the sleeves and go!

This cute leopard top dresses up the shorts a bit and it’s really versatile because you know…leopard is a neutral! My shoes are by Vince and I’ve had them for several years but I’m linking similar!

This outfit might be my favorite! I just love a comfy sweatshirt and if it’s a little dressier, it’s fine with me! I’m linking some really good ones that will make you want to wear joggers and leggings every day this fall! The boots are from Tory Burch and I could not find them anywhere to link, even though I purchased them this year. I’m linking similar ones! If you don’t own a pair of lug sole boots, they are comfortable and really trendy right now!
