Floral, velvet and pink feathers…who could resist? This dress from Cara Cara is such a fun piece for fall and the holiday season. I love the combination of the rich fabric, playful feathers, and the black cowboy boots felt like the perfect way to have a little more fun this look!

Now, about the bag…I actually don’t love it with this dress. Looking back at the pictures, I would choose something different, but I loved the photographs too much to leave them sitting on my computer over one styling decision. Sometimes you don’t see what you’d change until afterward, and that’s okay. I’m sharing the outfit anyway, and I’ll keep an eye out for a bag I like better with it. Let me know if you have any suggestions!! I do love this one!

I’m thinking of wearing this dress for Thanksgiving…the only drawback would be the feathers on the sleeves. I guess I could cook in one outfit and change into another for dinner. If you’re not cooking for Thanksgiving, this would be such a great dress and I can see it at a holiday party or even NYE! How fun!

With everything going on in the world around us, I’m happy to make room for a little fun with fashion. For me, that might mean wearing pink feathers and cowboy boots before anyone has even sent a holiday invitation!
