Crazy as this sounds, I think I had a relapse yesterday and really didn’t feel great and I still have a headache this morning. I am so ready for this virus (or whatever it is) to leave my body. It’s a terrible inconvenience and I want to get back to normal…there is so much to do and I’m getting more behind by the minute. But I do have some Sunday favorites to share…a few little indulgences and plenty of fashion inspiration!
I did however manage to rally and make it to my 45th class reunion last night. It was more fun than I expected it to be and was great to see everyone from high school. After 45 years, I didn’t feel like it was one of those reunions where everyone was trying to look good. It just seemed that everyone came to visit and have a good time and that was the best part. We told funny stories, got a group picture and reconnected. I’m so glad I went! We didn’t stay too late and I was able to be in bed by 10. Definitely hoping today will be a day when I feel much better. Sharing the picture of my outfit and of my class below. There were originally 200 of us and of course, we’ve lost some classmates and some couldn’t make it.

Enough about me and on to the things I’m loving right now…more than just a little bit!
The Life Changing Towel Warmer…

This towel warmer from Amazon is on my list of favorite things right now! When we redid our bathroom last year we installed expensive wall mounted towel warmers. I immediately did not like the way they looked but decided it was a trade off and I knew I would love having a warm towel. Well, those expensive towel warmers did not work well…they only warmed the towels where they touched the metal so they weren’t warm at all. I recently decided I was done with them and Baldy took them down. That’s when I purchased this $149 towel warmer from Amazon. It sits right outside the bathtub or shower and when I need my warm-all-the-way through towel, I just lift the lid, grab the towel and wrap up. It is the best! I also warm my pajamas at night before bed. I cannot tell you how much I love this little gadget! I’m thinking of giving them to my girls for Christmas…I know the kids would love to have their towels warmed when they finish their baths. It feels so indulgent and I’m just fine with that!
The Softest Slippers Ever…

I’ve worn these slippers from Soleil Sea everyday since I got home from Spain. When I wasn’t feeling well, they felt like just the thing to wear…they kept my feet warm and made me smile when I looked at them. Admittedly, they were beside the bed for a lot of the time, but It was so nice to slide my feet into them when I had to get up. They’re soft and cozy and I love the little black bows on top. These would also make a great holiday gift along with a pair of pajamas. They are normally $79 but Soleil Sea is offering 25% off with code FAMILY25 through the end of today. I love to give cozy things for the holidays. I’m really not trying to rush the season, but when you find a great gift at a great price, why not nab it!?
The Shoes I Wear With Everything

//Jimmy Choo Flats//Call It By Your Name Bag//
I got these adorable little flats from Jimmy Choo about a month ago and I’ve been so surprised at how versatile they are. Jimmy Choo has been a favorite brand for years…they fit my feet well, the sizing is consistent and the prices haven’t gone up like some other luxury brands have. I just couldn’t resist getting them and knew they would be comfortable. I find myself wearing them with everything. They seem to just blend in with whatever I pair them with and I always get compliments. While I was in Spain, I popped into a Jimmy Choo store and noticed that these also come in a tan suede…so pretty!
The Cutest Little Bag for Under $100

How perfectly adorable is this little tote bag I found on Etsy? It looks so French…carefree and polished at the same time. I just ordered it and I think it’ll be perfect with jeans, a tee and my little yellow leopard flats. I just love Etsy when I have time to really poke around and look…there is so much there!

My skin has taken a beating over the past month or so…two weeks at the beach, a trip to Spain and a week of being under the weather. I have been horrified (not kidding) at how dry, rough and congested it’s been. I went on Thursday to have a Hydrafacial and that helped tremendously. I also overhauled my products and started using iS Clinical Warming Honey Cleanser and iS Clinical Cleansing Complex combined to wash my face, SkinMedica TNS Advanced+ Serum and Skinbetter Science Trio Rebalancing Moisture Treatment along with the Obagi Vitamin C. After I have applied these products, I pat a little of the Love By Jade Glow Serum over everything. In just a few days, the texture of my skin has improved so much and my makeup goes on so much easier! Sometimes, you just need a fresh start!
I’m probably a little behind the times, but I first discovered Dries Van Noten about a year ago through his fragrances. I was in Bergdorf Goodman in NYC looking for a unique gift for the girls, and the sales associate asked if I had smelled them. I hadn’t, but when she brought them out, I was sold. Since then, I’ve become so drawn to the fashion as well…the unexpected mix of color, print and texture, and especially the whimsy. Dries stepped away from designing the clothing collections in 2024, but he’s still involved in the fragrances and beauty side of the brand and has opened a foundation in Venice celebrating art and craftsmanship. Julian Klausner now designs the collections, including the Spring 2027 show I’m sharing below. There’s so much personality in these clothes…they make me want to play in my closet! It’s my goal to own a piece from this spring collection. The pieces are a bit pricey, but if there’s one label I’d love to splurge on, this is it! I’m especially in love with this clutch for fall and going into the holiday season!
I’m including the Instagram reel of the Spring 2027 Dries Van Noten show…I’ve watched it several times and each time I watch, I get another idea of ways to style pieces from my own closet!
If you’re as fascinated by the creativity behind fashion as I am, take a look at the trailers for Dries and Martin Margiela: In His Own Words below. Both offer a glimpse into the worlds of designers with such distinct points of view. I love learning how someone’s imagination becomes something we can actually wear…these two are on my watch list!
A warm towel, a great pair of shoes and a little fashion inspiration and some great skin care…all things making me happy right now! I hope you’ve found something here to love, too. I’m looking forward to feeling like myself again and putting some of these ideas into outfits. Thanks so much for spending a little of your Sunday with me!
