“Summertime is always the best of what might be”

Summer in the South is a time when the pace of life just slows down!  My style becomes as simple as I can possibly make it!  The weather over the past few days has been absolutely perfect with lots of sunshine and low humidity, but I know from experience that it won’t last long!  We are in for a hot summer and easy loose pieces with sandals are what I’m looking for!  I’m hoping for lots of alfresco dinners, fun relaxing weekends, lazy lazy days at the beach and amazing memories with family and friends!

My outfit today is a mix of old and new.  The tie dyed top is by Young Fabulous and Broke and came from my favorite local boutique, Rebecca & Company in Greensboro as did my McQuire white jeans.  McQuire is a brand that I’m just getting to know and I’m loving it.  I like a thicker pair of white jeans and these are perfect with a cute frayed hem.  I added a pair of Tory Burch wedge sandals that I’ve had for years and a gold fringe bag by Rebecca Minkoff for a fun boho look that’s great for summer!
