Calling plaid a trend is like saying denim is having a moment! Jeans will always be a thing, just like plaid will always be a thing, especially around the holidays. Right now, there are so many plaid options to choose from, and while the plaid prints can only change so much, the way you wear them is what counts. So while plaid is certainly nothing new, it is and always will be in style!

Now that the holidays are upon us, I’m trying to dress a little more festively! I found this cute dress from H&M while I was in New York and it certainly fits into the festive category! I’ve never been much of an H&M shopper, but I hit the jackpot this time! I knew when I bought this dress that it needed a belt and so I styled it with a black Gucci belt, Stuart Weitzman tall platform boots, a red Fendi bag (definitely a high-low outfit). I also added a faux fur black vest for a little more warmth and the boots help too. I must confess that I have on a pair of leggings underneath because it was freezing the day we photographed this dress! This dress fits me like it was made for me and it brightens up a gloomy winter day!

There are so many cute plaid pieces right now…it’s the best way to dress festively this season!
