You can never have too many sweaters in my opinion and cardigans are having a moment right now! That’s why, when Dressbarn asked me to pick out a couple of pieces that I like from their fall collection, I picked two cardigan sweaters. Cardigans are always great to throw on over a tee shirt to add an extra layer of warmth, but also to add some color and style! They offer so many more styling possibilities than a standard turtleneck and pullover sweater!

For the outfits in this post, I decided to keep it simple with a thin long sleeve tee underneath the cardigans. Both sweaters are somewhat thin, making them great for layering. I love the hood on the first sweater and I paired it with wine color faux leather pants and a cute bag, staying in the same color palette except for the tee. The glitter scarf is extra haha!

At Dressbarn, they have so many varieties of sweaters: cropped, long and a little oversized. Some have hoods (like the one I’m wearing below) and some have a more fitted shape (keep scrolling for that one). Either way, cardigans offer endless styling possibilities.

For the second outfit, as luck would have it, I had a pair of jeans that were almost the same color as the olive green sweater (a little darker) and I paired those pieces with a simple tee, neutral crossbody bag, and leopard booties. The necklace added a little interest and a pop of color. This sweater will be amazing in the spring with white jeans!
