When I saw this embroidered dress by Johnny Was, I knew it would be perfect for Valentine’s Day!  I was shopping at Rebecca & Co. with my daughter Sarah and we were talking about her upcoming wedding plans.   I had picked out a suit to wear to the ceremony, but she wasn’t crazy about it, so I let that idea go thinking that I would figure something else out. It didn’t take me lont to realize that not only was this embroidered dress perfect for Valentine’s Day, it was also perfect for Sarah’s wedding.  She is having a very small ceremony with just family at the end of this month and then a bigger wedding in the summer.  This great dress is what I will wear to the ceremony, so you’ll be seeing it again!

On the way home, we stopped by Whole Foods to pick up a few things and sampled this Anna de Codorniu Brut Rose!  We both decided that this was the perfect sparkling wine to serve for the celebration.  It’s also perfect for Valentine’s day!  We love the pink color!

As you can see, their are some exciting events coming up this month!

 I styled the dress with these great Steve Madden booties last seen here. (also love these fabulous booties).  I think they are perfect with the dress!

Later today, I’m going to make my famous Black Bean and Sweet Potato Chili for Super Bowl Sunday!  I’ll have that recipe on the blog tomorrow!
