Today my daughters Sarah and Lauren and her son Hudson and I had lunch at the Green Valley Grill located in the O’Henry Hotel.  The O’Henry is a beautiful hotel in Greensboro, North Carolina.  I have only stayed there once and it was a fabulous experience (I’m hoping to go there again soon, hint, hint).  A meal at The Green Valley Grill is an elegant dining experience with an old-world feel.  The service is wonderful as is the food.  We had a great lunch celebrating being together!

It was a rainy day, but we didn’t let that stop us!

We took turns holding Hudson. Sarah is definitely a baby hog! He is surprisingly easy to be just four months old!

We were all happy to be at lunch together!  There is nothing quite like lunch with the girls and Hudson!

First up, warm bread with butter and a glass of Sancere!

This was a big mistake!  We ordered a half order each of Zatar Fries and Truffle Fries.  There wasn’t even one left at the end of the meal!  They were the best!

Hudson was happy just chewing on his blanket!

It only took one Zatar Fry and I knew it was trouble!

Dessert was Frozen Nutty Irishman!  Chocolate cake with Irish cream mouse and English toffee!

The bar at the O’Henry Hotel is also beautiful and has a very cozy feel!

The O’Henry serves High Tea every afternoon in the lobby of the hotel.  We decided that we definitely need to go back together very soon and have tea!
