Boho Chic + A Puppy Update

01

We are finally getting into a routine with little Archie…basically I keep a coat and scarf by the door because we go outside a lot. He likes his crate as long as he can see us and we’ve spent too much money on gates, but I can’t get anything done if he’s not somewhat confined! Keep scrolling for a little more on Archie!

Boho Chic…

This is maybe one of my favorite outfits ever! I really love the contrast of the lace blouse with the suede jacket. The earrings and necklace add just the right amount of boho to this fun look and the Mother straight leg jeans are my favorites. The boots are older suede ones with fringe from Veronica Beard that fit the outfit perfectly!

Unfortunately the lace blouse I’m wearing from Mango is sold out but I found several others that I love and I think you will too and I’m linking similar booties so keep scrolling!

I think the icing on the cake for this outfit is the jewelry. The chandelier earrings from the new Julie Vos collection are just fabulous and I layered on two necklaces just because more is more!

Puppy smoosh!

Puppy update…

So far, Archie is a sweet little terror. We’re working on potty training, but it’s so cold outside and I think that may be having an impact on our success. I’m getting him a sweater and hoping that helps. He’s like me and wants to sit as close to the source of heat in the room as possible!

He’s definitely growing and I’m surprised by how much he eats! His favorite thing is chewing electrical cords (insert crazy emoji face here)! He also is very confused by the leash and thinks it’s something to chew on!

All I can say is…it’s a good thing he’s cute and he is so cute!

Amos is adjusting well…he loves to play although I have to remind him at times to be gentle because he forgets how big he is! At times, he looks at Archie like he’s a huge annoyance and it’s pretty funny! I’m sure as Archie grows and Amos get used to him, they’ll be best brothers! I’m definitely making sure that Amos gets as much attention as ever right now!

As always, be sure to check out my Amazon Shop because I add to it daily and there are truly some great finds! You’ll find things for Valentine’s Day and new items for cold weather, plus ideas for spring!

And a few things from Sezane

I’m not sure January is the very best time to get a new puppy but we’re making it work…just looking forward to spring or at least some temps in the 50s!

Thanks so much for reading today and I hope your week is off to a good start!

    Good Morning Suzanne,
I read your Amos & Archie post to my husband. We got a laugh bc we can relate. It’s cold, sometimes snowing here also, which prevents going for daily walks. Our trainer told us, a good dog is a tired dog. Lucy, being 6 mo, is still a big puppy with a lot of energy. She wants to be near us constantly. They don’t call Berniedoodles velcro for nothing. Thanks for sharing.

      Hi Tricia

You are the sweetest! I can’t even tell you how much I’m smiling as I type this thinking of you reading my post to your husband!
Having a puppy in January isn’t the easiest thing but I know that soon it will be warm and I can see lots of long sunny walks in our future!
Dog lovers all over can relate I’m sure!
Thanks so much for your comment…I truly appreciate it!

This is one of my favorite outfits you have ever shared!! It could be that the cute puppy is influencing my opinion, but I don’t think that’s it.

      Hi Beckey

You are too sweet! I actually really love this look as well and I know that Archie steals the show but he really is the cutest!
Thank you so much for commenting! Happy Weekend!
