A caftan with sandals is a look that I’m all in for these days! It started a couple of summers ago when I bought my first caftan that wasn’t a swimsuit cover-up…I felt so dressed up, but comfortable at the same time. Caftans are easy, laid back and effortless but easily elevated with accessories and shoes!

Elegant, is how I feel in a caftan…like a goddess walking around the house! I especially love wearing a caftan at the beach…in the morning while I’m having coffee and in the afternoon after a day at the beach.

Caftans seem to have replaced denim shorts as my new “around the house look”. Many caftans can do double duty as swimsuit coverups and go easily from the beach to lunch. Luckily, there are so many great ones to choose from these days, at every price point! So whether you’re packing for your next tropical vacation or staying home, you’ll love wearing a caftan! I bought the cute Gucci sandals while we were in Prague and I’ve worn them almost every day! They look cute with jeans, shorts and dresses!

I’m packing to leave for Bald Head Island for almost three weeks and I’ll be taking my caftans with me and I may even buy another one for my collection while I’m there! The summer is flying by and I’m so ready to get to the beach, slow down, read a good book (any suggestions are welcome) and enjoy the sunshine!
