These color combinations may sound unlikely but…I promise they are actually so good together!

My tendency is to wear neutrals with neutrals and save the brighter colors for black or denim…but I’m not sure why and I’m trying to change that up!

My home is so full of color, but typically my wardrobe is not…I’ve been wondering why that is because I’m so drawn to color in fabrics, paint, art and just about everything else. When I look at my wardrobe, especially fall and winter, everything is camel, black and grey with a few pops of color thrown in! It truly doesn’t reflect my personality!

Bright pink is trending right now and I’m embracing it fully! My first purchase was a fuchsia sweater from Michael Stars and I’ve worn it more than I thought I would. It’s been a fun sweater for the holiday season and it’ll be good going right into spring with white jeans. When combined with red, pink makes a bold statement, but I’m also seeing pink puffers, pink handbags and everything in between, making it easy to add a pop of pink.

Another trending combination is bright pink and tan. All of these colors complement each other and make for such fun looks! I’m seeing pink and red shoes, like these fabulous pumps from Jimmy Choo and these wedge booties from Tory Burch. As you can see it’s easy to jump on the pink trend with both feet, or just a toe…whatever appeals to you! Oh…and about pink and leopard…don’t forget – leopard is a neutral!

The week between Christmas and New’s Years can be a little wonky! I’m trying to get my eating back on track, while still enjoying a few goodies now and then. I’m also drinking lots of ginger tea and trying to get enough sleep. At the same time, I’ve been a little crazy trying to get things re-organized because I feel so much better when there is order around me! What about you? How is your week going!
