Where do the weeks go…last week is a blur and as I’m sitting here, I can’t believe that it’s Tuesday morning! Being busy does make the time fly, but I’m not sure I want it to…even though I am very ready for the gloomy cold weather to go away! The older I get, the more I love warm weather! I know it’s coming but I have a feeling that we’ll have more cold first!

Some of you probably know that my youngest daughter Sarah lives in Germany with her husband who is in the Army. I’m really happy to announce that they are the proud parents of a beautiful baby boy, William Bristol McHugh, who was born on Saturday and we are very proud grandparents. We are so happy that he’s here and sad that we can’t be there right now! Hopefully, soon, things with Covid will get better and we can go for a long visit!

Fashion trends have felt a little weird lately because we’ve had no where to go! Dressing up just isn’t what it used to be. Normally, by this time, I’m knee deep in trying to figure out what the hottest new fashion trends will be and which ones I’m going to wear, but this year…I’m still looking at the loungewear trend and new jeans!

That’s where the sweater vest comes in…it’s a very wearable trend, can be dressed up or down AND can be found in many shapes and sizes. The new sweater vests feel modern and nothing like the sweater vests your grandad used to wear! A white blouse is the perfect accessory until the weather gets warmer!
