It’s officially jacket season here in North Carolina, and it’s so beautiful right now! The leaves are turning, and the temperatures are perfect for jackets and sweaters! I’m so happy that I have this jacket from Cara Cara hanging in my closet! I’ve worn it so many times already…including to my grandson’s birthday party last night. I always get compliments because it really is such a fabulous piece. I love the fall colors in the jacket, but also love that it has a bit of pink, a gorgeous turquoise and a bit of navy in the paisley pattern.
I’ve been wearing it as you see it here, with my Paige jeans, a short-sleeve mock neck tee, my tan cowboy boots and a tan suede bag, but I’m planning to mix it up a bit next time I wear it. I have it hanging in my closet over a grey tee with chocolate brown silk taffeta pants from Donni and chocolate brown suede booties. I love that it can be a bit dressier, although I think the quilted corduroy lends itself to a more casual style. I can also see it with a chocolate brown skirt and tall boots for Thanksgiving!
It’s one of those pieces that I’ll keep in my closet for years to come and look forward to pulling out each year for jacket season!

I’m including a boutique below filled with everything from this post, and some other favorites from Cara Cara…just discovered this fabulous jacket that I’m styling in my mind!

I’m hoping this beautiful weather sticks around for a while…I’m not quite ready to rush into the holidays when fall is showing off like this! There will be plenty of occasions to dress up over the next couple of months, but right now, jeans and a fabulous jacket are just right.
Thanks so much for reading today!
