Planning your Holiday wardrobe is key to looking and feeling your best during the busy holiday season and it’s not too early to start thinking about what you’ll wear because there are only 53 days until Christmas and endless events you’ll want to attend. If you start to think about it now, that will mean one less thing to think about as you’re doing all the other holiday related things…you know…shopping, cooking, decorating, wrapping etc.!

My versatile and cute plaid jacket is from Boston Proper and it’s well priced at only $139.50. Wear this jacket as I’ve styled it with black trousers, or style it with jeans or even red or black velvet pants. I love the band detail and velvet on the sleeves and the nipped waist gives it a more tailored look. Also, I LOVE anything with pockets! The day these pictures were taken, it was still a little warm, so I just had on a black tank underneath, but will definitely pair it with a black (or white) blouse or turtleneck, depending on the event. This jacket could also be styled with black flowy pants and a strappy sandal for a dressier event!

My plaid booties are from Jeffrey Campbell from two seasons ago, but I’ve linked a few other plaid pairs in the boutique below, but of course, black booties or over-the-knee boots would also be perfect.

Baldy and I are off to Chapel Hill later today! We’re celebrating our 28th anniversary this weekend (a week late). We’ll go to the UNC football game, dinner and spend the night!
