We have had the most glorious weather the past few days here in North Carolina and it’s definitely feeling like sweater weather is coming soon! Now that summer is almost officially over and I’m starting to see pumpkins in the grocery store, I’m ready for fall…butternut squash soup, pumpkin ravioli, chrysanthemums, dinner by the fire and of course…fall fashion!

When I saw this beautiful tweed duster, it was love at first sight! I did wonder about the length because I’m short, but a pair of gold heels solved that problem! I love the contrast of jeans with dressier pieces and this outfit is a winner!

A plaid blazer is a closet essential for fall and this one is one of my favorites yet! I love the gold buttons and the flattering fit! I’ve paired it with a pumpkin spice satin blouse and the same jeans. A pair of Marc Fisher booties are the perfect shoe to complete this look!

I’m loving this metallic appliqué tweed jacket paired with tan jeans! It’s such a chic and unexpected piece for fall and perfect for a dressier event! I would also wear this jacket with black leather pants or off white wide leg pants. Again…the fit of this jacket is so flattering as is the shorter length. My sandals are from L’Agence.

My uniform in fall is a pair of jeans and a sweater so this outfit is one I’ll be wearing on repeat! This cozy cable sweater will go with so many different things already in my closet and it’s so soft and warm!
