The great thing about a faux shearling (or fur) vest is you can literally throw it on over sweatpants and feel like a glamorous version of yourself. It was cold yesterday when these pictures were taken and I really should have worn a sweater under this vest, but I liked the colors of the blouse (similar here) so much that I just decided to be cold for a few minutes. This would have been perfect if I were dashing inside a shop or the grocery store.

I like the idea of wearing this vest with a red plaid flannel for a cozy and warm holiday outfit. Also, styling it over a sweater and blouse is a cute idea.

I did a little holiday shopping over the weekend because it seems that Christmas is creeping up very quickly with Thanksgiving being so late this year. I’m loving this vest from Loft…it would make a great gift for any girl on your list!
