A Woman Owned Brand I’m Loving

Today, I’m sharing a fabulous skirt set from a brand I’ve fallen in love with from a brand called The Great! The Great is a woman-owned business started by best friends Emily Current and Meritt Elliott. The clothing is perfect for my lifestyle… casual yet elevated, and the fit is perfection. The first piece I purchased in early spring was a huge black scarf that I wore over a blazer. I’m still wearing it as a sarong with my swimsuits. I also purchased this outfit that I loved wearing in Los Angeles… it was so perfect for dinner at Spago on a chilly evening. I always love supporting women-owned businesses, and this one has stolen my heart!

This look features a Victorian pleat tank with beautiful detailing. It’s lovely worn with the matching skirt, but also looks great with black pants or jeans. The skirt has a smocked elastic waistband and hits just above the ankle. I’ve styled it with flats here, but also love it with a platform sandal. If you want to go more casual, wear it with a tank or tee… to lunch, the farmer’s market, or errands. The set can also be worn with this cute sweater! I really have my eye on it because it makes such a fun look and I can picture myself wearing it at the beach when it’s windy and cooler. When I can see something in my mind, it usually means I need it!

I also have my eye on a few other pieces that you’ll love…this pullover would be so amazing with white shorts or jeans, this adorable embroidered bag would immediately dress up so many different outfits, while this striped bag looks very stylish but holds the kitchen sink…perfect for the beach or pool, and I couldn’t love these leopard shorts and the matching top more!

There’s nothing I love more than discovering a women-owned brand like this one and sharing it with you. Beautiful, versatile pieces that elevate your wardrobe and actually fit your life… that’s what keeps me looking. The Great has earned a permanent place in my closet.

I drove home from Richmond late yesterday and today still feels like Monday! It was so nice to spend a little time with my daughter and her family and our dinner at Uliveto was very delicious!
