Sometimes, when things are hard and I feel like that little girl again…that little girl who never knew that there were options, that little girl who was scared, that little girl who never knew her value, that little girl who wished things were different but didn’t know how to make them that way, or didn’t know that she deserved anything different. I know that I’m no longer that little girl. I’ve learned, probably the hard way that things can be different, that there is a way out, that I have value and that I deserve everything that I ever dreamed of. That little girl lives in all of us, but she teaches us so much, and now…I’m that little girl who figured out so many things. Life is a journey, but everyday I continue my search and every day that little girls grows up just a little bit more! Life is good!
