I say this every week, but how in the world did it get to be Friday? The weeks are flying by and I’m trying my best to stay in the moment and enjoy my life! The one thing about being a blogger is that at least I have pictures to document just about everything so I can remember it!
As you know, over the past couple of months, I’ve been collaborating with my new friend, Barbie of Southern Blonde Chic. I love her great style and I’ve so enjoyed getting to know her…she’s a very special person! Making new friends through social media is another one of the perks of blogging! Today, Barbie and I are styling our Spanx leggings!
I’m a pretty casual person most of the time because that’s what my life dictates, so when we talked about styling leggings for this post, I immediately thought about Spanx because they are the only kind of leggings I own other than workout clothes. I have 3 pairs of Spanx…camo, faux leather and moto Spanx. I absolutely love them all. In this post, I’m styling the camo Spanx and the moto Spanx just the way that I would normally wear them. Spanx are perfect for everyday style. They’re comfortable, versatile and always look great!
This outfit is the most casual. I’ve styled my moto Spanx simply, with a denim shirt that I’ve had forever. My Nike sneakers and a leopard bag are the perfect accessories.
All of these pictures were taken inside because we had the worst storms yesterday! The sun finally came out, but it was 82 degrees and the humidity was 100% which only means one thing…BAD HAIR!
This is my favorite of the three outfits! I styled my camo leggings with a sweater from Gap and Marc Fisher booties. Amos is always the perfect accessory and my favorite person!
Getting ready for the holidays a little early this year with my red plaid shirt! I bought this flannel shirt from J Crew several years ago and still love it. It’s warm and cozy and, of course, goes perfectly with my Spanx moto leggings. I styled this outfit with my favorite Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots for an easy outfit that works for shopping, running errands or most anything!
You’ve seen how I styled my leggings…here’s how Barbie styled hers! I always love her style, and her beautiful smile!
The combination of the blue sweater with her fabulous leopard booties is perfection!
I’m loving Barbie’s leggings with a stripe down the side…putting these and the cute leopard booties on my wish list! Also, do you see what I mean about that beautiful smile?!
We’ll be back soon with another styling post and a surprise! Keep checking!
Several times a month, I do a “this & that” post that usually includes a movie recommendation so I thought I would let you know that Baldy and I just finished watching Victoria and absolutely loved it. But, it’s always kind of sad when a series ends and you have to make a decision about what to watch next (not really sad in the scheme of things, but you know what I mean). We decided to watch an episode of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman and really enjoyed it…just in case you’re looking for something to watch!

Oh I love the way you styled your Spanx! I especially love the look with the red plaid- looks adorable in you! My husband and I also watched Victoria and really enjoyed it- there are actually quite a few we watched and loved, but the list is too long lol! Have you watched Emily in Paris? I think you’d love it! Have a great weekend xx
Hi Lucy
Thank you so much for reading! Spanx are my go-to right now!
Yes yes, we watched Emily in Paris and both loved it! It’s so cute and lighthearted…just what we need during these crazy times!
So many great looks!! I’ve always been shy about wearing leggings because of my “athletic” thighs, but I just might give Spanx a try!!
Hi Barbie
Thank you for reading! I love my Spanx and I think you’ll love them too!
I absolutely love your outfits! So relaxed yet so stylish. I know what you mean with the series. I had it when Downton Abbey ended! Hope to see you on my Fancy Friday link up party.

Hi Nancy
Thank you so much! We started watching The Queens Gambit last night and I’m not entirely sure about it yet, but we’ll watch more before we make that final decision. The first one was a little dark!
