The weather went from kind-of warm, kind-of cool to down right cold in a flash! It’s going to warm up again, but I was totally unprepared mentally for the cold! Luckily, I had some great pieces from Boston Proper to wear and stayed cozy and warm! All of the pieces I’m showing today are what I would consider basics because they mix and match easily with many other things! These pieces are affordable, well made, stylish and will make a great addition to your closet! I also think the coats would make excellent holiday gifts!

Of all the Boston Proper pieces in this post, this coat is my favorite! I know I’ll get so much wear out of it because it’s so soft and can be dressed up or down! I love that it has a hood because I’m always cold and a hood gives extra warmth. I think this adorable coat makes an elegant statement…and Amos and I match!

Here, I’ve dressed up the same coat with black faux leather pants, a black ribbed turtleneck and black suede booties. This is a sophisticated and chic look that will take you so many places and keep you warm!

I am really a coat girl and believe you can never have too many coats! The one pictured here is faux shearling and faux fur. I love the pockets and the color is perfect for throwing on with basically anything! I’ve styled it with the black faux leather pants and off white turtleneck! Perfect for a crisp fall day!

Can you ever go wrong with all black? This elegant look is ideal for travel because the blazer is no wrinkle and packs so well! Wear it with a column of black for the sleekest look!
