I wanted to spread some positivity this morning…in life, it’s always about perspective…how you are looking at your situation. The most important thing is believing that you can be, do or have anything you can dream! When you are able to change your thoughts, your life will change!

I’m leaving today for Miami…I’ve been invited, along with Baldy (he’s my +1), to go on a cruise with Regent Seven Seas! It’s the inaugural voyage of their brand new ship, Splendor, and it’s going to be beyond fabulous! I’ll be sharing the whole thing on Instagram and Stories so be sure to check in…and you know that a blog post is coming!

When I look back at my life five years ago, I never dreamed in a million years, that as a blogger and influencer, I would be invited to go on a fabulous trip like this. I can remember watching other bloggers having similar opportunities and knew that I wanted to get to that point. I still have a long way to go, but for now, I’m going to soak it all in, and have a great time, just finding joy in the present moment!

About the Outfit

My daily uniform when the weather is cold, is jeans, booties, a sweater and if it’s really cold…a fleece jacket. Fleece jackets have come a long way since the original Patagonia and North Face jackets came out. They have morphed into every kind of style with price points ranging from thousands of dollars to the one I’m wearing from Gap that I bought at 40% off making it under $100.

I’m feeling a movement toward coziness right now with everything from home decor to clothing. Hygge (pronounced hoo-ga) is the Scandinavian way of life that spreads warmth and calm…finding joy and coziness in life’s everyday moments and it’s a huge trend in home decor. Since it is still February and we have more cold weather coming…the forecast here is for snow today, why not find a little coziness in fashion as well, with a cute and versatile fleece jacket?

Fleece jackets are incredibly stylish but the best part is that they have actual functionality (and can bring your warmth to a new level) so here are a few of my favorites (as well as links to the booties, bag and jeans) in all styles and at most price points!
