Oh My, Spanx!

01

Spanx has come a long way over the last several years! There are so many fabulous pieces to choose from including shape wear, denim, loungewear, active wear (including swimsuits) and more!

I’m wearing an asymmetrical vest top paired with the perfect kick flare cropped pants. I kept this look chic and simple by adding a black bag from Celine (a Christmas gift from Baldy) and gorgeous kitten heels from Madison Maison along with black sunglasses. My jewelry is from French Kande.

This look is a little out of my box but I love it because it’s a classic, flattering and easy look that will really go so many places. I rarely feel like I need to look “professional”, but this look certainly would work for any professional situation and it’s also great for dinner out and the separate pieces are so versatile.

Higher heels would add a little more spunk to the look, but I’m obsessed with these fun kitten heels that I purchased while I was in Los Angeles in May. These gorgeous shoes are so versatile and work well with jeans, and longer shorts as well!

Baldy and I have been in Richmond this weekend helping our daughter get settled into her new house. We had a fun Father’s Day dinner last night and I made a delicious Orecchiette with Leeks and Sausage and…Baldy’s favorite dessert…peanut butter pie! I’ll be sharing these recipes soon (hopefully this week)!

I’m headed home later this afternoon and then Amos and I are off to Bald Head Island tomorrow! The rest of the family is coming for the weekend so I have a few days to myself to get prepared!

I truly never remember traveling so much in my life and I’m adjusting, but definitely ready to be at the beach for some much needed R & R!

I’m including a boutique below with all of the pieces shown in the post as well as a few more of my favorites from Spanx!

I hope you all have had a great weekend! I’d love to know what you think of this great look from Spanx!

Thanks to the links to bald head island and Richmond. I am not familiar with bald head so it was neat to learn about. We are newer to VA and heading to obx to see the lighthouses for the first time. Maybe that will be our next beach trip as we prefer more quiet and no cars sounds fantastic.
Will remember to book a reservation at one of the Richmond restaurants. We drive over from LYH for the shopping and always could use a good recommendation besides the Whole Foods hot bar 😂.
    Have a great vacation!

      Hi Jennifer
I’m so glad you enjoyed the post! I love both Bald Head Island and Richmond, although we still have so much to explore in Richmond!
I think you’ll definitely enjoy Bald Head if you like a quiet beach…it’s especially quiet in April/May and September/October as most of the tourists have gone home! Those are my favorite times to be there and the weather is perfect!
You really can’t go wrong with any of the restaurants in the post and there are new ones popping up all of the time…although, the hot bar at Whole Foods is always delicious!
      Thanks so much for reading!
