While this post is about fashion and fun summer dresses, I wanted to include a quote from the latest issue of Magnolia. I found it so inspiring and thought you would too!

Others may not be able to spot what’s different, but inside of us we know: the reward was in the risking!”

More and more, I want to wear dresses…they’re feminine and so comfortable. I love all kinds of dresses from my favorite Little Black Dress to this fabulous maxi dress from Rixo. I first saw it on one of my favorite bloggers, Blair Eadie from Atlantic-Pacific. I immediately loved it and love it even more because it’s on sale!

I will admit that I was a little warm wearing this dress during the daytime for these pictures, but I think this dress would be perfect for an evening under the stars and it will totally go right into the fall! It has so many fabulous colors and the metallic threads running through are beautiful!

I kept the accessories simple with a fun pair of black earrings that were purchased at Anthropologie several years ago and my favorite gold platform sandals. Having said that, it would be equally as cute with flats for a more casual look..

Dresses are so good in summer and I’ve found so many that I’m loving lately….
