Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and these days, I’m looking for any excuse to celebrate! Actually, I have so many things this year to celebrate and the biggest thing is that by the time Valentine’s Day gets here, I’ll have a new grandson! Even though I can’t travel to Germany to be with him, I’ll be so happy to welcome little William Bristol McHugh into the world! What will I ever do with 3 grandsons…’m really learning about little boys and I love every minute!

When our girls were younger and living at home, we always celebrated Valentine’s Day at home with a fancy dinner and gifts. Since they’ve been gone, we’ve done different things, but very rarely go out to dinner because the restaurants are so crowded. This year, going out doesn’t seem like even a remote option!

In the spirit of dragging out a celebration, I’ve decided to start adding a little love into my wardrobe early this year with this cute sweater from Loft! While I like the traditional red and pink, I think this sweater with a big black heart…is just a little more understated and I’m loving it!
