Knit sets of every kind are trending for fall 2021…Cardigans and tops, cropped or oversized as well as knit skirts and pants are something you’ll see everywhere and this trend makes getting dressed oh so easy.
I was killing time in Anthropologie the other day waiting for a flower arrangement to be finished and came across this cute knit set! I immediately fell in love with it…but, the top looked a little too cropped for my comfort level. The stylist that was helping me encouraged me to try it on anyway and I absolutely loved it. Just a sliver of my stomach shows (much less than I thought) and I’m comfortable with that! I’ve worked out pretty hard over the years and don’t really feel that my age should limit what I’m able to wear.
Anyway…clearly I bought the outfit and the fun hat to go with it! I’m not much of a hat person except for at the beach when I’m trying to keep the sun off my face, but I couldn’t resist this one. I will be great for fall with so many different outfits including jeans and a white shirt with booties! Hats can sometimes be hard for me because I have a small head but I think I can pull this one off! My shoes are by Jeffrey Campbell and just happened to match perfectly!

Hello. I personally would not know where to wear this, but in a hotter climate than the UK I think it would make a lovely outfit for a lunch date somewhere casual. You have the figure to carry it off, not many women our sort of age do!
