Happy summer weekend! The official first day of summer may not be for a few more weeks, but as far as I’m concerned, Memorial Day kicks off all the summer vibes I need to wholeheartedly embrace summer! This is a weekend to cook out (weather permitting), sit by a pool or on a beach with a good book and enjoy family and friends! This will be a low key weekend for our family! We’re planning to grill out on Monday and I’m hoping to work in my flower beds and get our courtyard looking it’s best before the real summer heat sets in! I hope y’all have a great weekend!

On Thursday, I went to Wilmington North Carolina, to visit my friend Deedee at her fabulous boutique…Monkee’s!. Monkee’s carries the cutest pieces and there is truly something for every fashionista. The shoe selection is amazing and I wanted one of each pair! I tried on lots of amazing outfits, got to know the girls in the shop, and we all had a really nice dinner together! An all white outfit just screams summer and makes me feel cool even when the temperatures are soaring! I’ve linked similar pieces for and the exact shoes below! (as well as a less expensive pair) I’ve found these sandals to be some of the most versatile in my wardrobe!
