Good morning!

A quick update on my mom…she’s still hanging in there, but she’s definitely transitioning and the next several days will be spent visiting as much as possible. She’s very comfortable and has great care. Thank you to everyone for your kind words. This is a hard time for our family.

I’ve had this content created for over a week now and it may seem odd to be posting, but I look at this blog as my business and also it helps to have a focus right now. So…today, I’m sharing a couple of looks that are just my style…casual with a touch of something festive. The first look is a black eyelash yarn sweater from Splendid paired with Veronica Beard jeans that I’m obsessed with because the fit is so good. I added Stuart Weitzman black suede booties in the first pictures and my new Prada lug sole boots in the last. I decided the boots were just a little too short for the pants, but then went back and forth. I included the picture so let me know what you think. I know everyone isn’t into the lug sole look, but I love these boots and have worn them nonstop since we got home from New York!

The little Tory Burch bag I’m carrying (similar here) is one that I’ve loved for a while! Baldy gave it to me for Christmas several years back and it just seems to work all year long. The long chandelier earrings are from Cult Gaia and also work all year long as do my pearl bracelets from Julie Miles!

I have worn the heck out of this red sweater from White & Warren and it’s one I’ll keep forever! It’s the softest cashmere and fits perfectly. It very versatile and can be dressed up or worn with jeans. I paired it with leather pants from Hudson, the same Stuart Weitzman booties (this is my second pair because I completely wore out the first) and a 20 year old gold Tory Burch bag (similar here). Buy what you love and you’ll keep it forever!

This is a short post because I’m so behind and have to finish up things for Christmas. I hope you all are having a wonderful week and getting a little rest before Santa comes!
