Happy Monday…
I’m starting this week thinking about fall fashion! I had a comment recently from someone who wanted to know what pieces to buy when starting over with their wardrobe. I decided to create a casual, effortless capsule wardrobe that can be endlessly mixed and matched! I’m sure most of you have at least some similar pieces in your closet and others that will extend this capsule that you can add!
I tried to link pieces with varying price points so be sure to scroll to the end where you’ll find a boutique with more than the pieces linked under each outfit!
I played around with these pieces and came up with 22 outfits. I could have gone on and on but my brain wasn’t functioning so well after 22! This was a labor of love so I hope you enjoy…it took forever! In some of the pictures, I did add a pair of tortoise sunglasses and the image with all of the wardrobe pieces is missing the coatigan (coat cardigan). I didn’t realized until I was in too deep to change it, but you’ll figure it out I’m sure!

*As a side note…because of the size of the pictures in this post, it is easier to read the mobile version on your phone. I’m planning some tweaks to the blog very soon, but for now, if it’s too hard to read, please check this post out on your phone!
Also… let me know in the comments if you like this type of post! Thanks so much for reading!

Yes! Love this thoughtful capsule collection! And the neutrals are fantastic. I can’t afford some on this list ($3000 sweater!), So was thrilled to see you added alternate options
Immediately ordered that coatigan.
Hi April! I’m so happy you like the capsule wardrobe! It truly did take hours to put together and I’m definitely going to try to replicate these outfits in my wardrobe! I did include a few pricier pieces, but I can’t find the $3000 sweater! I do realize that some of the bags are more of an investment!
That coatigan is amazing and I have my eye on it also! Thank you so much for reading and for leaving a comment!
Great post showing wardrobe capsule and how all the outfits work together
Hi Barbara
I’m so glad you enjoyed this post! It was fun to put together! Thanks so much for reading!
Thank you! I love your style and the way you have put this together.
Hi Jeanie
Thank you so much! I’m such a spontaneous shopper most of the time and this really has helped me to see what I actually need to purchase!
Thank you for putting this together! I am going to study it and keep it handy as I shop. It’s hard not to want everything!
Hi Harriet
I’m so glad you found this post helpful! I’ll admit that I found a few things I want for fall as well! I was surprised at how many similar things I had so that’s a good start!
I love this! I’ve struggled to put together outfits for fall. I’m hoping I can get all of these pieces or something similar.
