I love to shop and buy new clothes as much as the next person, but it’s just not practical or affordable to buy new things everyday! This whole outfit was put together from things that were already in my closet. While it’s nothing fancy, I liked the combination of the gold top with the embroidered jeans and I always love a good pair of espadrilles.
On the days when I need outfit inspiration, I turn to Pinterest, magazines, Instagram and blogs (sometimes even my own blog). I think it’s important to be creative when getting dressed and put together pieces in different ways that reflect our mood and/or what we’re doing for the day! Seeing other people’s outfits can inspire you to pull things out that you haven’t worn in a while and wear them in a whole new way!
Even though I always include links for exact or similar pieces in my bog posts, I do hope that my outfits will inspire you to “shop your closet” and create new outfits with things you already have.

You look great, big surprise! ; ) Shopping my closet is the only shopping I’ll be doing this summer! And I’m bummed because I bought those white embroidered jeans last season after you showed them on your blog, and then I returned them because I felt guilty for paying full price! Now I wish I still had them because they are so great looking! Oh well.
Sometimes I get all dressed up and have nowhere to go, most of the time I’m the only one in the room who made an effort when I do get out! But I’d rather feel confident and look good! Thanks for all the outfit inspiration I find here on your blog!
