Classic Fall Wardrobe Favorites

“Don’t settle for nice, for pleasant, for familiar. Keep looking until you find something that really moves you, that resonates with your core. And I mean this for people, for interests, for hobbies, for your possessions, clothes, music, books, art. Everything. Curate every aspect of your life, as much as you can. it’s in the things that deeply inspire us that we find ourselves. Surround yourself with truth and you’ll have built yourself a heaven,” ~ Unknown

This post is about Classic Fall Wardrobe Favorites and shopping, because I love fashion, but aside from that…when I sit down to write this blog almost every day, it is my sincere desire to inspire you to live your best life. If you haven’t found that thing that makes your heart sing, that thing that you do when you become unaware of time, I encourage you to begin. Life is too short…live everyday like you mean it.

Things are different right now, COVID has changed the way we live, maybe for a very long time to come, but life is full of twists and turns and different roads, so don’t worry so much about the destination. Take the time to find joy in the moment and see the beauty that surrounds you right now.

About the fashion…I’m wearing what I would consider to be classic pieces that will last forever. Leather pants, beautiful snakeskin boots, a double breasted black blazer, black bag, black sunglasses and gold hoop earrings. I chose to wear the blazer as my top, but a tee shirt or blouse would be great under as well. Each one of these pieces provides endless options for styling.

I have always been an impulsive shopper, but for some reason this year, I’m really thinking more before I buy a piece and trying to fill my closet with pieces just like these that can be styled over and over again and will never go out of style. And while I may be spending more on each individual piece, I feel that it is money well spent. Keep scrolling for similar pieces that you can incorporate into your wardrobe.

I just discovered your blog and really love it. We are in the same place in life. It has been difficult for me since I was a stay at home mom for my two boys and loved every minute of it. I call myself a stay at home wife now and am still trying to find my way:). Thanks for the encouragement!
