It’s so hard to believe I’m well into my second week of vacation here on Bald Head Island. The first few days were spent alone and I truly enjoyed the solace! Baldy joined me and we’ve had a very relaxing time with our two doodles Amos and John Wayne (our youngest daughter’s dog)! I’m fortunate to be able to combine pleasure and work and this post is the result of that good fortune!

As you can see from these pictures, Bald Head Island has some remote beaches and it was so much fun to come out with my photographer, Aka Baldy! This is my favorite beach to take pictures because there aren’t ever many people around! The water is pretty rough on this beach so I don’t like to go in the water here but it’s just so pretty!
