I’ve always wanted a pool in my backyard, but alas, it’s never happened! I am fortunate though because we are members of a neighborhood club where we can go and swim, work out, play golf, tennis and eat. In the summer, I’m always motivated to get all my work done (I can hear my dad’s voice when I say that), put the top down on my car, and go sit by the pool with an icy frozen margarita and a stack of magazines.

Earlier in the year, I was afraid that, because of quarantine, I wouldn’t be able to do this, but thankfully the pool is open and there is a chair waiting for me (when I finish my work)!

I also love to take my grandsons, Hudson and Graham and watch them splash around in the water and eat PB&J sandwiches and French fries…overall, when I’m home in the summer, the pool is definitely my happy place! Maybe one day, I’ll take up golf, but for now, I just want to enjoy the sun!

Speaking of pool bags, I found the one in these pictures at Target and I’m pretty pleased with it! My bags really take a beating because I pack them so full of necessities and this one is so affordable and cute that I don’t worry about messing it up. This sunscreen from Target smells delicious and is great to spray on kids who are trying to get away from you and get into the pool!
