Bright Notes for Winter

01

I fell in love with this sweater from Alémais the minute I saw it! It’s exactly the kind of piece I want to wear in January when it’s so drab outside…it has a playful point starting with the exaggerated balloon sleeves and small pom-pom details scattered all over…pinks, reds, light blues, and marigold yellows that add color without overpowering. I pulled out the marigold yellow with my fabulous loafers from The Office of Angela Scott loafers (sadly, no longer available but I’ve linked a nearly identical tan pair) and an older Tod’s bag with stitching that matches the sweater’s palette exactly. Styled with Le Jean Jeans…it’s just such a fun look!

This sweater is a piece that stands on its own and will go with so many other pieces in your closet…think skinny black or brown trousers, a pair of pink jeans…the options are endless! It’s perfect for everyday wear—errands, coffee, a casual lunch, or anywhere you want to feel pulled together without overthinking it. Worn simply, it definitely lets the details do the talking!

The thing I love most about this sweater is that it makes me smile…it adds a little brightness to a winter day!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and feel inspired to add a little color to your January wardrobe!

Today, I’m shooting a fabulous Valentine’s Day table and I’m so excited to share it!

Thanks so much for reading today!

~XOXO Suzanne
