Flatbread with Chicken and Avocado Served with Provenance Vineyards Rutherford Sauvignon Blancd
Delicious is the best word I can think of to describe these Flatbreads with Chicken and Avocado. I was looking for a recipe last week that would be easy, delicious, healthy and pair well with a new Sauvignon Blanc that I wanted to try! I found this recipe on Creme De La Crumb and knew it would be a perfect weekend dinner. I tweaked it slightly to make it a little easier and less messyβ¦because who wants to be stuck cleaning up a mess in the kitchen! The Sauvignon Blanc I had been dying to try was the Provenance Vineyards Rutherford Sauvignon Blancβ¦letβs just call it summer in a bottle!
Sauvignon Blanc is my drink of choice and this one is crisp, light and great to sip with a bite of cheese or serve with dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed this dinner and the wine. Keep scrolling for the flatbread recipe because youβre going to want to make it over the weekend!

β2018 Provenance Vineyards Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc captures the flavor profile of Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in the Rutherford AVA, in the center of Napa Valley. We aged the wine sur lie (on the yeast lees) for creamy nuances and texture. Semillon, for melon notes and a silky mouthfeel, completed the blend. Our favorite pairings include fresh greens with warmed goat cheese, sautΓ©ed scallops, grilled fish or chicken, and angel hair pasta with basil pesto.β
I bought several different sizes of flatbread and experimented with making appetizer flatbreads. These smaller ones would be perfect for a cocktail partyβ¦you could even cut them in half. I promise theyβll be the first thing to disappear!
