Refreshing and Delicious - Watermelon Margaritas

When it comes to a margarita, fresh juice makes all the difference and the combination of fresh watermelon juice and freshly squeezed lime juice in this delicious Watermelon Margarita is unbelievably refreshing and delicious! I guess you could also call it somewhat healthy…or we’ll just go with that!

It took just a few minutes to juice 1/2 of a small seedless watermelon in my juicer and honestly, I wish I had gone ahead and juiced the whole thing. We not only used the juice in these margaritas…we also drank it plain because it was so tasty. It’s nice to have on hand and if you’re going to go to the trouble to get everything out, you might as well just juice a whole watermelon.

You can also use a blender to blend the watermelon and strain it in a nut bag or in a cheese cloth lined strainer. You may have a little more pulp that way, but your margarita will still be very delicious!

I rimmed my glasses with a slice of lime and then dipped them into a mixture of flaky salt and cane sugar! I love the combination of salty sweet and it was just perfect with the flavor of the watermelon juice. It’s fun to play around with different flavors for your rim so use what you like!

I thought I would include the details for my outfit because it’s such a perfect look for summer…linen pants, a sleeveless sweater (under $30) and flat sandals is an easy combo that always works!
