Everyday Fall Makeup Look with Nordstrom
Today, I’m so excited to share some of my favorite Fall makeup must-haves from Nordstrom! I love to change up my makeup in the fall and then add in some fun glam for the Holidays to keep my look current and fresh! With the holidays right around the corner, not only am I thinking about a new look for myself, I’m also thinking about gifts for my girls, my girlfriends and myself (did I say that already?)! Nordstrom has so many new makeup palettes, lipsticks, bronzers, and travel sets, you’ll be able to take care of everyone on your list. All of these items will take you through the new year looking your best!
I will always believe that one of the best ways to update your makeup look is with a new lipstick because a new tube of lipstick does wonders to boost your mood and your lips! MAC Cremesheen Lipsticks are my go to for an everyday lipstick and they are ideal for dry lips as the weather changes. They add just enough color without being overpowering. I’ve found as I’ve gotten older, I can’t wear matte or really dark lipstick colors because they give me a harsh look. I stick to a moisturizing, sheer lipstick with a sweep of lip gloss. For a little more color around the holidays, I love Dior Addict Stellar Halo Shine Lipstick. The options are endless for great lipsticks and glosses available at Nordstrom! Bobbie Brown has long been one of my favorite makeup brands! The colors are mostly neutrals, but layer so beautifully. You can choose a really natural look, or go darker for a smokey, sultry look. The lip glosses and mascara are the best. I purchased this amazing kit and then, as luck would have it, it almost immediately sold out! It’s all good because I’m linking similar kits that are great for holiday gifting. I began my makeup look today with Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. I started using this moisturizer over the summer and it’s been a game changer for me. It’s not too heavy and is perfect under my Georgio Armani Foundation. Georgio Armani has been my favorite foundation for a while now because it provides luminous medium coverage and doesn’t feel heavy. It comes in 32 shades so literally everyone can wear it. Next, I used Nars Concealer…it’s a multipurpose must-have concealer that brightens and corrects. After, I dusted on Nars Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder to set.

Here’s how I created my very easy, less than 5 minute eye, cheek and lip look (be sure to watch the video below)…
First, I applied a light neutral color to cover my lid (like the one in this palette), all the way to my brow. Next using a Laura Mercier Ponytail brush, I swept a deeper color into the crease of my eye (this palette has great options), and just a bit over the bone. Everyone is different…my eyes are small and I have a lot of room between my lash line and my eyebrow, so by doing this, it gives the appearance of bigger, deeper set eyes. Next, I used an angled brush to line my eyes with a dark brown shadow, winging it just a bit in the corners. This defines my eye and makes it stand out. Finally, I used a light shimmery powder right in the middle of my eyelid, in the creases and under my brow bone. This adds highlights that brighten my eyes. I added a sweep of bronzer from the cheekbone up into my hairline by my temple, around my hairline on my forehead, on my jawbone and just a bit under my chin and jawbone. Next I used a light brown eyeshadow and the same angled brush to fill in my eyebrows, applied blush to the apples of my cheeks and finally, applied mascara. This look is easy, quick and great for everyday. I like to use NARS The Multiple Stick throughout the day to refresh my look…it works as a blush, eyeshadow and lip color!
