16 Outfits to Wear for Fall
Do you have days when you stand in front of a very crowded closet and wonder what to wear? Some days, I nail it with my outfit and other days, I walk out the door wondering what happened and knowing that I just don’t have the time to go back and change. Granted, your outfit isn’t important in the scheme of things, but it certainly does give you a boost of confidence when you feel good about your clothes!
It’s nice to have a few tried and true outfit ideas that you can go back and reference on those days when you’re standing in front of your closet staring…
Today, I wanted to share a few outfits all in one place that are easy to replicate. While you may not have the exact pieces…use your imagination and pull out similar things to recreate.
It’s nice to reserve a space in your closet where you can hang a few outfits together. I recommend doing this on Sunday afternoon or evening so that you’re prepared for the week ahead. I hope these outfits inspire you to shop your closet…BUT just in case you need a few things to fill in, I’ve linked similar (or exact) pieces below.
With the proper styling, the right layering, and fall accessories, your favorite summer dress is more versatile than you think. You can wear this past season's colored maxis and floral sundresses (see below) throughout the fall too. In other words, don't put away your summer dresses just yet.
Above, I’ve combined a silk skirt from last season with a cozy turtleneck sweater and boots.
This was one of my most popular posts on Instagram recently so evidently, everyone loves flare jeans. I styled these simply with a black sweater, but the leopard pumps add interest.
I will never stop wearing white jeans in fall and winter. They’re just too easy to style! I love them with a trench coat and booties!
I’ve recently started wearing joggers…who knew they were so comfortable AND versatile!
Don’t leave those leather pants hanging in the closet reserved for a special occasion! Wear them with everything…including sneakers!
This great little sweater from J Crew is one of my favorite new purchases. It’s hard to tell in the picture, but I’m wearing it with black jeans.
This picture was obviously taken before the weather started to get cool. I’ve since styled this dress with boots and a denim jacket. The colors make it perfect for warm fall days.
Plaid is on everything this year…including these cute pants from Frame Denim. The rest of the outfit is made up of pieces from prior seasons.
If you only make one new purchase this year…make it a blazer!
