Neutral Outfit Ideas - Two Styles of Jeans for Summer

Okay, I’ll admit it, I love color, but when it comes down to it…I’m also quite a fan of neutrals. It’s so easy to pull together an outfit from neutral closet staples and I kind of obsess over those tan and beige accessories… like this amazing handbag from Cult Gaia that I’m carrying. You know you can pair these accessories with almost anything!

. While I will always love bright colors…especially in summer, neutrals definitely make more sense for everyday wear and my pocketbook. Here, I’m sharing two very different outfits made up of neutral pieces and I think they’re perfect for summer and going into fall!

Neutrals for Summer

I have talked about the jeans I’m wearing before…they are my very favorite new brand - Moussy! Moussy jeans come in many different styles, but the ones I like best are the mid rise because they just fit my body better than high rise jeans. I have however, learned how to style high rise jeans over the past couple of years since they are so popular.

In both pictures I’m carrying my new bag from Cult Gaia. It’s a statement bag, but still very easy to carry and because of the color goes with so many different outfits. A white button down from Loft, Gucci Belt and transparent heels also from Cult Gaia as well as a great chain necklace and funky sunglasses complete the look.

I do love this pair of high rise white jeans from Citizens of Humanity. The wide leg offsets the high rise and I usually wear a heel with them to make my legs appear longer. Unfortunately, these exact jeans are sold out, but I’ve linked similar. I went for an all neutral look and added an off white tee, again from Loft, my Chloe espadrilles that go with everything, the same Cult Gaia Bag and chain and black sunglasses (less expensive here).
