Mississippi Pot Roast Sliders
Well you just haven’t lived until you’ve eaten these fabulous sliders! I have no earthly idea why this meat is called Mississippi Pot Roast, but I do know that it’s soooo tasty! This is just one of those recipes that you keep in your back pocket for those times when you want something hearty, comforting and delicious but most of all…easy! It’s so simple that you really don’t even need the recipe!
I actually made this recipe two days in a row. The first night, I put one roast in the slow cooker thinking it would be plenty but, Baldy loved it so much that he just about ate the whole pot roast with the exception of 2 small servings. I decided if he liked it that much then I needed to share it with you! I served the roast with my famous Coconut Rice the first time and omg it was good!
This time I was smarter and doubled the recipe. It cooked for about 6 hours and was just perfect! You can always take the lid off the slow cooker and check to see if it’s ready. I decided to make Hawaiian Roll Sliders with the meat the second time and add cheese and pickled jalapenos. OMG it was very very delicious!
Perfect for a holiday buffet or just for dinner, these Mississippi Pot Roast Sliders just don’t get any better! Scroll for the recipe!
To serve…put the warm sliders on a platter and surround with your favorite potato chips, mayonnaise, mustard, hot sauce and pickles! This is a real crowd pleaser!
I’m working on a post for later today with all the Cyber Week Sales in one place so all you’ll have to do is click. So…make some Mississippi Pot roast, sit down with Crazy Blonde Life and get your holiday shopping done while you enjoy a delicious dinner! You can thank me later!
