At Home In the Perfect Blouse
I believe I have found the perfect shirt! I discovered Sarah Alexandra shirts not long ago and immediately ordered one! These shirts are works of art…so wearable and beautifully made!
Sarah Alexandra shirts are made with a one piece collar that stays popped or can be laid flat…or a two piece collar. The one piece is, in my opinion, is slightly dressier, while the two piece is perfect for a more casual look. Either shirt goes with absolutely everything…and which ever one you choose will be a work horse in your wardrobe. These shirts are made in Italy and are the epitome of sophistication! I’m already trying to decide which one I want to purchase next! Keep scrolling for a few of my favorites!
These little red buckle shoes from Ganni (they also come in leopard) were the perfect match for my blouse and the frey hem on the Veronica Beard jeans is a nice contrast to the more traditional blouse! I added a strand of pearls just for fun and love the white sunglasses with the look!
Popping the collar of my shirt and adding the fun cat-eye sunglasses is my little way of adding a sprinkle of sass to this outfit…it's like a cheeky wink and adds a bit more interest!
I’m so glad the weather is getting warmer because I love to be outside on our patio…there is nothing better than a cold glass of rosé in the late afternoon and my two pups…being lazy in the grass!

Happy Thursday…as always, this week has flown by so quickly!
I’m spending long days and into the night trying to get our home put back together after over 6 months of construction! We’re not back in our bedroom yet because the floors need the final coat of varnish, but it won’t be long!
When we moved everything out of the bedroom and my closet, I did a huge purge and now…I’m doing another one! It’s hard to believe how much stuff can accumulate over almost 20 years! I am donating bags and bags of clothes to our local thrift store which raises funds for treatment programs in the area. It feels good to know that the clothing is helping out with a good cause!
This is the first day in a very long time that I haven’t had men working in the house and it’s so nice! I can actually walk around in my pjs!
Monday the electrician comes to finish up a few things and hang the light fixtures and the floors will be finished on Tuesday. We still have a few little details to work on after that, but I can finally see the light!
Have a great day and thanks so much for reading today!
