A New Uniform - Veronica Beard Dickey Jacket
Where does the time go? It’s not quite Halloween and everywhere I look, I see holiday…decor, gift guides, and food! As a blogger, these things have been on my mind for a little while now, but it still sneaks up…Christmas is in 63 days!

It’s become a tradition for my daughters and me to go to New York every year for their Christmas gift and last night we booked our hotel. There is no place like NYC to shop for the holidays and I can’t wait! This is a trip we look forward to for the whole year! This year, we are staying at 11 Howard because we had a not-so-great experience with our hotel last year because we waited until too late to book and I wanted to make sure it didn’t happen again! 11 Howard is in Soho so we’ll be exploring that neighborhood…shopping and EATING, which is always the best part!
I’ve written about and linked Veronica Beard pieces many times on this blog and continue to love them! My new Veronica Beard purchase for fall is this camel blazer with a denim dickey zipped in. The addition of a dickey make the blazers so much more versatile and so much more comfortable because you don’t have the bulk of a blouse or sweater. I’m wearing a thin white tank underneath this blazer and it’s perfect. I’ve paired the blazer with leather pants from last season (these are keep forever pants) and my Golden Goose sneakers (less expensive here) that took me all over Paris! I didn’t jump on the sneaker bandwagon for a while, but now I’m definitely a fan of sneakers! Of course, this outfit would be amazing with booties or even a pair of pumps, but for everyday comfort, sneakers are the best!
